          Possible ... check the side of the jump ring to see if it has any markings on it .

              OK ....hmmmmm
              It has an X on the jump ring and a drip of solder -- that would indicate a 24 .
              Man ... that is some ugly soldering job.

                    And tell me ,please, this "job" original WW 2 ,or handmade after this ? ( And why ,when EK is sow normal and butiful ? )
                    ( This EK by old legioner ,who have it from 1944 august. )

                      Crosses by the maker 24 have a few of these strange markings - some but not all crosses .
                      The cross is original and some time after the war the cross split open at the seam on one side . From the looks of it the fellow him self tried to repair it .
                      The seams is filled in with solder from the outside . Not a professional job and we see this done now and then . Who ever did it tried his best ,
