Well, I received the ribbon bar today and thought I would do some close up and personal photos of not only the bar but the spange as well. Here is the bar...

I have never given any thought as to the maker of a ribbon bar spange, but I think the spange's details show clearly that it is linked to the maker Boerger. It's hard to ignore the similarities it bares.
