    6 Rivet Deschler Unmarked

Here is what the seller wrote about it:
"Only once in a while do you run across one of these. This German cross in gold has defiantly seen better days, but it’s for sure the real deal. The cross has characteristics that conform to a deschler made piece. The back has 6 pin construction, and a deschler style unmarked pin catch. The front of the cross has that nice old tone to it. The biggest set back is the enamel has chipped away a little bit in the middle of the cross. This cross has the look and feel of history. If this piece could only talk, imagine the stories it could tell. Here is your chance to own an original German cross (only 20,000 issued) at a bargain price."
I have NO clue how to upload pictures on here, but, can you gents give me some thoughts about this DKiG. I purchased it from the website owner who is a friend of mine as well. I have thought that is was good from day one! Opinions? Is this a early war example or later?

I will post the Pictures here, so they will not "dissapear".

Off-topic, but jeezus I wish people would learn to spell "definitely". Or that I had $1.00 for every time I see this.

unless this is dirt cheap, I would pass ont his one, and wait for a better to show up.

But that is just my opinion.

Thanks for all the replays guys. I did pick it up cheap, it is a rough one, but, I also have a niche for the "Battle-field Salty" look. Got a thumbs form you guys so I thank you.
-Flemming-thanks for posting the pics...man, I need to figure out how to upload.

Well, I don't have any idea how much you got it for but you can easily get rid of the rust and make it look a lot better. The back at least looks good as is.

PS. And I'm with you hank... annoys the crap out of me.
