Help with maker ID of EK II Klasse

    Ladies & Gentleman,

I would like to try and identify the maker of this cross. As far as I am aware it is unmarked; this is the only photo I have of the cross.

Any comments and or advice will be very much appreciated.

Thank you to all in advance

Cannot get the picture to come up any larger .
It has to be larger for anyone to try and identify it .

              Story gets better!

firstly thanks to Douglas for taking the time to have a look!

I have since been in touch with the current owner who informs me that it has the mm "129" on the ring.

I have checked my records and I cannot find a maker under the PKZ that stamped "129". can anyone shed light or should I stay clear of this one!

Most of these high number makers got parts from S&L .
Interesting it is marked .That Pkz number was issued to Fritz Kohm in Pforzheim .
It not a number found with EKs . Sometimes the number hard to read ... it might be 123, 126 or 128 maybe ???

                  Douglas,

Once again, many thanks. I shall let you know of the outcome as I am waiting for the owner to reply to a few questions. Interesting to say the least; I have learnt something else new thanks to you regarding S&L parts!

                  Thanks

Just an example that shows that these marks at times can be hard to read :

Thanks Douglas - very useful thread; 123 7 128 are very close in appearance, but by identifying unique signatures narrows the field!

Interesting you should mention that . A straight on shot would help .
55 has -3- bead designs or layouts .... the arm we cannot see would have to have a high 30 full bead count .
