Early German cross from maker Deschler

    hello,

i would like to have some informations about the
early german crosses from maker Deschler with six rivets on
the backside! Here in auction we can find such a cross!
In my opinion a genuine early cross
    http://www.militaria321.com/auktion/...-6-Nieter.html
The seller noticed that the maker just made about 500 crosses in this variant
    Is this really right?

I cannot see the cross since I have to check in which I will not do due to the fact that a lot of the wares offered at www.militaria321.com are very bad fakes.

The alledged production number of the Deschler 6-rivet German Cross was mentioned in Nimmerguts "opus magnum" without any reference and now spooks around and is taken for gospel by some. However, the genuine 6 rivet Deschler is not a very common decoration, but it is also not super rare.

how many the cross produced at that time is unknown exactly,
but i know i have over 50 or 60 examples in my datebase,
        it seems not very rare.

what about others in my datebase?
        10 rivets: 4
        Juncker very early: 6
        L/52: 13

Good original cross imo. Early crosses in gold with a short pin are not super rare while the version in silver is not easy to find.

            Fine original cross
I know a few for sale but most of the time the asking price is outreagous.
I don't understand why you post a thread here and mention a link to an auction.
This thread costs you possibly a few hunderds of $.

                  Hello

                  thanks for the informations!
No problem, i am not interested in the German cross!
If i would bid on the cross i would not published this threat!
I just have found this auction and i am wondering about
the small production numbers the seller describe!

                  regards 4xL
