    Need Help With Family "Collection"!

    Wehrmacht Collectors,

As a humble Imperial Collector I need your fella's help in identifying some WW2 German medals and other war trophys. Talk about a great Thanksgiving!

My two uncles were talking about some old WW2 German awards and other collectibles they had that they got from my great-grandfather who served with the American 7th Army as a mechanic during WW2. He often traded his cigarette coupons for German stuff since he didn't smoke. As a collector I immediately asked about them and my uncle was more than happy to show them to me, and what a collection! This doesn't even include a whole other "box" my other uncle has.

I have some pictures (not the best since I am inept when it comes to digital cameras) but since I'm not a member of the association yet I can't post them *EDIT: Just joined*, if someone can I would be very very thankful. Here is a list of what I saw of my uncles collection he got from my great-grandfather. All are 100% original straight from a veteran (my great grandpa ).

    German:

    -2 EK2s w/ ribbon
-War Merit Cross w/o ribbon(I think)
    -1939 Spange
-2 Badges (not sure what though, one has a ship on it and the other has a grenade and gun crossed)
-SS Dagger (with a dent where a bullet hit it)
    -NSDAP Party Pin
-Match Box made out of belt buckle (Imperial buckle I beleive)
    -Small cloth swastika flag
-A flare gun with small swastika and eagles on it w/ holster
-A Hiter Youth mauser training rifle but for BBs
-A Luftwaffe helmet (didnt see this one, uncle wasn't sure where it was at

    Non-German:

-A fold out 7th Army map of the Rhine area
-A odd thing really, its has a small type of viewfinder with small pictures of scenes in Germany, has 7th Army logo on it
-Some sort of Army script to substitute for local currency
-World War I Victory Medal ( I think this was my great great grandpas)
-Japanese rifle with Emperor's flower still on it

Again any help with more info/prices would be great! I was amazed at all this stuff and couldn't beleive it! Still excited!

Many thanks to all who can help and Happy Thanksgiving,

    Cole

                  Cole,
The 2 badges are general assault and a destroyer badge.
                  Regards,
                  Fred

The ribbon on the ek belongs to the war merit cross.

nice pieces the Iron cross and War merit cross have had thier ribbons switched. The small enamelled swas badge is a party badge, locall and military ? currency and also a SS mans dagger (looks very nice indeed) Also a first class bar to the 1914/18 I.C (eagle with 1939 date under it)

Much thanks to Fred for posting the pics!

Thanks to everyone for thier replies as well, I took some better pictures but for some reason didn't save on the camera.

Also just realized this goes beyond Crosses of the Wehrmacht so if a moderator feels like it should be moved somewhere else feel free.

Again, any more info/feedback is appreciated!

                        Best Regards,

                        Cole
