A Couple LDO Boxed EK2 Spangen - Standard and Prinzen For Your Enjoyment

A friend (and also fellow WAF member) was with me in Mannheim in 2002 when I found the standard Wiederholungsspange 2 Klasse and is still trying to talk me into selling. He thinks it's only worth RM 1,20 as is listed and I think it's worth a bit more.

The Prinzen came from Robert Kondor at the 2004 MAX show.

Both box types are shown in Williamson's book as I recall.

    Enjoy.

Now Jeff, you know I'm not that cheap, I offered to double that price!

Will call you soon to offer you an arm and a leg, my firstborn, etc!

Good to hear from you Dale and remember you well hovering behind me waiting for me to pass on the Spange!

Do you think they are both are Deumer? I don't want to pull back on the ribbon to check on the standard one for a maker mark.

By the lack of views, I guess these are pretty common. I think I should have posted in the cases/boxes forum.

Congratulations on a VERY fine Deumer Prinzen, I have my mint boxed example (already shown on the forum before).

I sold my 'spare' one on to fund other ventures They for one are certainly not common ... I just happened to stumble across the second one at an antiques fair in amongst some holiday souvenir pins .

                Jeff,
I think the full size one may also be a Deumer, though my spange skills are weak and your photo of the front is not quite the best angle to compare. Maybe one of the EK experts here can chime in.
