Deutsches Kreuz im Gold

A friend of mine has come across a german cross in gold but he does not know for sure it is the real deal so he needs some opinions.
The pin looks replaced it as a number 2 under the pin.

This type is considered postwar. Furthermore the pin is replaced and has a fake stamp on it. Although the pin itself seems to be from S&L, too.
