It is what is referred to a 'floch' reproduction. The are plenty of threads about these available to read.

Thanks Rich G & Wayne for your response. I tried matching the badge up with some of those listed on the forum but they seemed slightly different in various ways, so I tried the personal approach and now I feel confident that it is a Floch copy
