                  You said most Souval like this are post war does that mean that it is for sure a post war Souval? More opinions on this please.

                    Good photos would help also, but I think no one knows for sure which of this type of Souval are postwar, and which are wartime.

                      Bottom line many Souval items will always have a question mark attached to them as to whether they were made pre or post 1945.

                      As stated I would stay away from all L/58 (that does NOT include L58 SBs) badges or crosses if you want a 100% period piece. Personally I wouldn't be too concerned about the piece you show. However, if you could manage better pictures it never hurts.

                        Also Souval EKi marked L/58 on pin are accepted by most as war time
