Against all odds : Juncker Spanienkreuz in silver ..

After having had so much luck with by KM destroyer badge by Deumer , I 've taken a second look at this Spanienkreuz , from the same batch .
And the more pictures I find , the more confused I get .
If it is a reproduction , then by now I've certainly seen worse - all opinions welcome .. !

What turned me off initially , was the grainy reverse .
Until I found some pictures of exactly that type of reverse surface - as an original variation .. ?!

      Marking CEJ + 800 ..
I'll take it to the jeweller tomorrow to test for silver content - or will that not be necessary .. ?

Different angle , really hard to photograph but the edges are highly polished ..

              Spanish Cross

If there are fakes of that quality being made today, there are a whole lot of people facing a world of hurt. I am going back to my G.I. Joe collection!

                I simply can't believe my luck .. !

Definitely not some sort of new generation , since it came from an old Dutch collection .
But that collection was also full of nasty postwar Souvals - so I took the grainy reverse to be a bad sign .

Then again , I have by now found many smooth and very few grainy reverse Junckers , but also unmarked and badly stamped ones - and for silver markings 800 as well as 935 .. ?!

Same with the reverses of their early EKs.

Spanish Cross in silver with swords CEJ 800 ?

Show a picture of it side ways ! Also show another picture of the entire cross on its back side with the pin up. If the size of the Box is to Big then we have a problem. The CEJ stamp should be the same size as a Early 1st pattern flight badge. This should only have 2 legs cut out !!!
