    Assistance please

    Hi Guys,

Could you please help me with marker of this Eki - got this photo as a part of haul and there is also EKi. It came directly but no one had a clue if it belonged to rest of papers and medals.

I have some idea but it doesn't match to the EK and would love to know your ideas.

    Hi Michal,

Obviously this is a very difficult question from that one photo, but the shape seems like it could be a Mayer, Deumer or 23-frame Meybauer (which all have the same shape).
    Best regards,
    Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

      Hi Trev,

      Thanks.

my is almost the same - 3 and 26.

      And the EK is '65'

      I don't think it's K&Q, don't you.

I think it's a 1914 EKI because the man also wears a black white EKII ribbon.

I disagree about the EKII ribbon. Looks like the standard TR to me. The cross has no vaulting and seems to have the TR EK shape. Great photo, that's for sure.

it's TR EKii ribbon for sure - this photo is dated 1943 and here is citation for EKii. If would have 1914 Eki he should have imperial Ekii ribbon and Ekii 1939 clasp... BTW he was born 29.06.1914

                  Hí Michael
                  IMO L/57 ????
because this cross is round the inner corners
and a very small distance between the arms
is high enough and the hinge is

                  one possible idea

Yes, I do think it might be a K&Q.

Thanks Trev, but what about the finish isn't EKi on photo with frosting?

I think K&Q EKs did come frosted; the frosting just didn't stay on well. But I've seen some mint ones with intact frosting.

Actually I think K&Q could be a very good possibility for that photo.

                          Best regards,

Thank you Trevor - congrats on your '65'

I bought this group because of citation (this unite was only for 5 months) and photos. Now it seems I have much more - his CCC in silver, Eki, Ekii with ribbon and envelope , KVK set

Here is also Heinz but before war
