    DKiG in cloth

I have had this one for a few years and never could figure out if metal wreath was replaced (because original went missing) with slightly over-sized version or could it have just been converted to DKiG from DkiS?

It appears to be original including the wreath, but I could be wrong.

Not a trace of any backing residue, even if it were cut from a uniform.

If that would be a "kiss of death" regarding originality, then this one is a fake too because paper backing has departed without leaving a trace?

Also this un-worn piece would be a fake, since the exposed area that is missing paper backing doesn't have any residue left?

Oh, lighten up! No one said it was the "kiss of death!" Just an argumentative toad like you! My comment was educational, not to start an argument with your prospective! I do not feel that the piece is original, but that is just my opinion.
You are certainly to yours without being a smartass!

It looks like a well worn cross to me.
The wreath seems to be big but I think this cross have a chance

Normaly wreaths use to have 4 pins and this cross have two what I can see

If you look little bit harder, what do you see?

I might be a smart ass, but you should think and look twice before you give your expert opinion.

                The cross looks promising.
Please add to post close up pic of the"date".

Unfortunately I have only my cell phone camera with me, but I will take better pictures this evening when I get home.

The wreath reminds me of a Souval one. If it has been replaced a Souval may have been a donor, but I don't know how the Souval wreaths are normally attached to their DKs so I'm only guessing. I would have thought that the remains of the backing on the wreath pins would have suggested that this belongs where it is. Is it at all likely that the material components have shrunk?

Yes, the wreath is not what we typically see.

Would like to see better photos.
