This is a superb wearing copy of the WWII German Spanish Cross in gold with brilliants that is in completely original and excellent condition. The badge is constructed of “900” grade silver and with absolutely gorgeous fire gilt finish. Each eagle has been hand soldiered in place between the arms of the cross and carries a cutout swastika in its talons. The stippling in the arms of the cross is well defined and clearly seen. The swordsare exceptionally well crafted with the hilts exhibiting extremely fine detail. The central disk has 14 brilliant, white sapphires surrounding the central swastika that are mounted in the European style. The reverse is with a fine “coke bottle” pin, hinge and catch assemblies. The center of the reverse is marked with a small silver content number of “900”. The gilt finish on this piece has taken on one of the most attractive age tone patinas you could ever hope to see. This badge had everything you to see on an original Third Reich produced piece and is an unquestionable original wearing piece. The Spanish Cross in Gold with diamonds was only awarded 28 times with such notable personalities as Adolph Galland, Gunter Lutzow, Werner Molders and Walter Oesau being among them. This remains a masterpiece of early Third Reich quality and craftsmanship and is just one stunning example of this very scarce Spanish Civil War decoration.

I thought this was an ad for a minute. I look forward to hearing what people think. Surely all the awarded ones are accounted for. It will be very interesting to hear what people have to say about it.

tons of fakes on that site. I bought some items and he forgot to send one piece, he refused to send it if I didn't buy more. Surely it wasn't my fault that he forgot to add all items.

Do not, in my opinion, match known originals.

Look at the mess to the medallion during the bedazzling process.

Sadly it would appear that the information coming out here and in the other thread re. a DK you have advertised on your site, suggests another story. If you want to try to advertise your wares please use the estand rather than place ads in the discussion forums. If you don't want people to make comment about authenticity then don't post in the first place.

It is perfectly reasonable and wise to post items for review before you put them up for sale as that is done regularly here on the forums.

Selling fakes and knowing is not very honest.
