I recently picked this up at a gun show. Unfortunately, I was unable to post anything before purchasing but, am able to return it if it is deemed a copy. I felt good about it but, the maker's mark has been damaged and is unreadable. I would appreciate if someone would be able to tell me who the maker is.

It will be going back. I was hesitant due to the maker mark being damaged but still felt it was okay. I guess I had better study some more before taking the plunge.
