I'd give you 30 euros for it would be fun to try and restore!

Guess this piece holds a certain sentimental value to the owner hence a price tag. I feel equally attached to my thousand.

Nice one. A new (paid up) member posts some pics of a cross that DOES look ground found and he cops nothing but BS. So what if he's looking to sell. Imo even in this condition it's still worth a few hundred dollars - at least everything is there (hardware, eagles, swas, etc).

Personally, it's an interesting find and thanks to joakimk for posting the pics.

                    Regards

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

                      Imo

It's called 'fishing for a sucker' amongst other collectors (some paid up too).
In any event this forum is a platform to communicate and me (as did few others) communicated our views.

                      cheers

An interesting original piece in relic condition. I would say its worth perhaps $250.
                          Best regards,

Would "ground-dug" cause tombac to turn black like that? Looks more like it's been painted black (?).
