Do a search on the forum for outer carton and you will turn up some information.

I'm pretty sure that they also came in an issue envelope like the EKII.

        Rare item too.

        REgards ...

                Hi Giel,

Indeed EK one packages do exist, however.....I've never encountered or seen via book and collection one such as this.(not a bad thing at all....but !)

I don't like the L/12 boxed mm to be honest.....on a packet. Actuall Juncker packets I've encountered always (to my own knowledge) bare the whole Juncker title and name and the construction of the packets is somewhat different to the norm. They as a rule have folds either side and at the bottom, and believe it or not for some reason seem to be smaller in size !

Now these are just observations and shouldn't be taken as gospel per se my own thought on you packet is that is a fake and I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. But I can only assume on what I know and think I know to be 'correct' and to add to that the classic 'at this moment in time'.

The trait of the middle maker mark, uuummm one of those things but for this instance I suspect not good. Not always, but it is a thing to note about fakes to an extent.

Construction like I say, but this can be discounted as much as 'proved'; it's difficult I can't base a premise of an opinion of several examples owned and viewed, because it's only a packet variantions are found to be far and wide.

The type set (desigantion) I'm not to happy with in this instance, the spacing in all honesty, it dosen't relate to any other examples on what I'd deem as ok.

Now this is just my opinion, I'm not an expert but I personally don't this packet at all.

There are guy's on this forum who know more about EK packets than I will in a month of Sunday's, I hope too they will respond.

PS Giel your English is excellent , please try to obtain a copy of Gordon Williamson's book, The Iron Cross of 1939 you'd find this a valuable reference to packets and EK alike. He has one or two examples of the EK 1 packet in there.
