Eichenlaub zum Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuz 1939 Es handelt sich bei dem Eichenlaub um eine seltene Fertigung der Fa. Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. Das Eichenlaub aus Silber fein geprägt. Rückseitig links gestempelt "900" Silber, rechts "L 15". Komplett mit dem getragenen Halsband. Getragenes Stück, in gutem unberührten Originalzustand.
Die Fa. Otto Schickle hat zwischen Mai 1940 und Juli 1941 Ritterkreuze gefertigt sowie wohl auch eine kleine Anzahl an Eichenlauben. Da die Fa. Schickle erst im März 1941 die LDO-Nummer "L/15" erhielt, können von März bis Juli 1941 nur ganz wenige Eichenlaube hergestellt worden sein. In der Fachliteratur ist bis heute noch kein "Schickle" Eichenlaub abgebildet worden.

At the back left stamped "900" silver, right "L 15". Complete with the worn collar. Worn piece in good untouched original condition.
Otto Schickle The company has made, between May 1940 and July 1941 Knight's Crosses and probably also a small number of Eichenlauben. Since the company Schickle received the LDO number "L/15" only in March 1941, only a few Eichenlaube may have been produced from March to July 1941. In the technical literature has been mapped to date no "Schickle" oak leaves.Comment

I know that S&L made period sets of oaks marked 800 or 900 silver content only for dispay or retail never knew or heard of Schickle producing any. They made the RK so...... Why not produce oaks with or without permission. They got banned for a reason LOL. Very interesting TPKComment

Forgetting the marking not being the standard L/15 for a moment, if these were original what value would they have compared to a Godet piece?
