Great 2. type Juncker. Probably made 1940ish, so the 1941 date fits perfectly.
          Best regards,

Very nice EKI. I really like to see the brass showing through on the high points.

Skalp : nice brass core -- could you make a close up of the center please.

                Thanks, Douglas

One of the nicest Juncker crosses I've seen in a long time. Congratulations on a nice find!!! I just love how the paint is barely worn through to the high spots of the brass core.

The man i´ve got it from said the cross he enherited from his Grandpa. I asked him if the name on the backplate would match his Grandpas name.
He said it did´nt. On the backplate it says v Stosch. My quick reserch resulted in that there was a Hans Gottlieb Graf von Stosch listed as i GCiG holder. Also a Kapitänleutnant Wilhelm von Stosch existed he was commander of the Minenschiff Juminda. Interesting.

Thanks for the picture : Scalp

Not that easy to see Robert ... it has the wide beading variant for that type .

You can see the 'crunch bead' in posts #1&2 through a magnifying glass. It's hard to see but still detectable. Also the outside corner beading is typical 2. form.
