LDO boxed 'Prinzen' 1939 EKII Bar

Good afternoon, I would like some opinions on this item please. If possible to confirm authenticity, the manufacturer and an approximate value ? It measures 25mm high by 24mm wide, is unmarked and has just the 2 pins (non are broken off).

Any and all opinions are welcome of course.

    Thanks in anticipation. Ian

The prinzen is an original Deumer. As far as price...I can't help you with this. Sorry.

      Hi Ian,

Very nice and original spange. I have the same one on my website, I think they have the same price of a good early 2nd pattern ek2 clasp.

The box also looks good but I would like to see some better pictures. The LDO print looks very faint.
      Kind regards,
      Giel

Many thanks for confirming it's original (I thought it was but obviously need to be 100% ) and by Deumer.

        You guys are very kind.

        Cheers, Ian.

Just a couple more questions ...

Is this made of Tombak or Neusilber ?

Am I correct in assuming that this is an early war piece ?

          Many thanks, Ian.

Very nice mint boxed Deumer prizen Ian!

For me, hard to say the metal because the finish is so perfect but the back side is usually the first to display signs. In your picts there appears to be a slight darkening of the back but it could just be the pictures or a minor yellowing of the lacker. However, mine looks like a contemporary strike to yours with more wear and it looks like tombac to me

            Regards

            JC
