Each to their own. Still not a case I would own. All my late L/11's came in the LDO marked halb-etui.

Glossy appearance, no markings and contrived looking horse glue...no thanks.

depend which is the kind of L/11 you have.. from 1941 to 45 .. in the middle we have 4 years of production ! by the way please share your sets, front and back of your L/11s so we can see too your thoght.

Unfortunately I no longer have them or any pics. I remember they were late examples because of the semi-gloss paint finish and lack of fine detail to the numerals as frame ribbing.

If you are comfortable with these cases that is the important thing, right? I just am expressing my own feeling about them.

I agree, no one is here to persuade no one. I let you know my point of view, that has also the support of some one else that know the EK field very well: I am not just confortable, I am super confortable with these cases or I would have them sold already years ago.
