Not my field either, but:

The edges (reverse) look pretty soft
Pitting (cast?)
Marked "800" , but appears to be Buntmetall??


I don't know, but I'm not to keen on it.

Hi Stefan,

I am no expert either, but this 800 mark (from what little I can see) looks similar to ones used on common fake Imperial flight-badges and other items.

Do you think the piece is silver?
