Harry, that case is beautiful....taking nothing away from the cross but it's really a high grade and well done item!

        Tom,
Both the EK2 and RK are L/12 mm, but knowing where your interests lie, here are a few more pics of the RK. (Lighting conditions here at the moment are poor)

                    Harry,

Wonderful set, although the RK is a stunner my personal favourite is the converted EK2, it just appeals to me so much.

                    Regards

                        Nice one Harry.

I much prefer the finish on the L/12 cores to most of the (rougher) ones I see on lazy 2's.

I really prefer the L/12s over the lazy 2s as well. Thanks for the additional photos.

Harry...just a little 'tidbit' but it's important when looking at an alleged 'worn' Knight's Cross...

Notice how the ring is slightly pushed forward...a fairly common 'visual' in worn crosses
                            Regards,
                            Dave

                              Absolutely Dave!

This is why I included a side-on shot of it - I have been meaning to ask if this was an intended feature done deliberately at assembly by the craftsmen, to make it 'lie' better, or wheather it is purely as a result of wear.

                              best,
