    KVK2 Without Swords - Silver

I recently acquired this cross for my collection.

    It is made of silver.

    The Cross is not Hallmarked.

How common was it to issue these made from silver?

Not aware of any solid silver examples of this class .
With out having it in hand ... I would have to say it appears to me to be only silver plated Ni-aloy ??

I would agree with Douglas that the cross seems to be silver plated, which can give a positive for silver on a test. Only sophisticated equipment or a destructive test can assess the base material. Also a silver cross would likely be marked for content.
