Beautiful crosses! I thought I was just three shy of having all the makers but NO! Now I have to find one of these that has been denazified

Two distinct types of EK1s are shown here.

The 24 marked EK1 is a F. Zimmermann (6.) marked 24. The other two shown are attributed to 24 based on die characteristics (matching 24 marked EK2s), and the fact that one set of this type (EK1, case) was found in a Robert Koch / Frankfurt am Main labeled carton.

So: a Robert Koch EK1 with die characteristics that match 24 EK2s? Because 24 was an Arbeitsgemeinschaft (Work Group) -- something like a collective of smaller jewelers who banded together to solicit a contract to supply to government -- Koch was then theorized to have been one contributor to the Arbeitsgemeinschaft, due to the similarity of his EK1 to 24 EK2s and also his proximity (20km) to the town in which the Arbeitsgemeinschaft was located, viz. Hanau.

In my opinion both types are original, but I think it's also possible the EK1s shown by Sanya are Robert Koch pieces, unrelated to Arbeitsgemeinschaft 24. The exact nature of the relationship between F. Zimmermann, Robert Koch and Arbeitsgemeinschaft 24 is yet to be understood.
                      Best regards,
                      Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

The mm 24 Zimmerman's are extremely rare I think I've only ever seen 3.
