    Getting even better these listings

This site is becoming something else. Now we have a Waffen SS Generals shoulder boards with hacked off shreds of tunic around them, A previous item is a pair of SS collar patches with the collar ends still attached. It would be wrong to say that all items shown are wrong but a lot seem to be text book Vets bring backs if you know what I mean. Would any heathen ever shred up a Generals tunic for the shoulder boards and leave the Eagle? Maybe they would Hmmmm! I have seen a complete SS tunic Collar on its own with patches many years ago which was apparently a genuine bring back so I suppose all things are possible.

So, what do we make of the RK he's recently listed? Or need I ask?

Sadly, no. You should see some of the fake stuff he's already sold, and they were not cheap items either.

Well one thing is probably original, this lovely ground dug Black Wound badge with attached tunic straight from Russia.

A "Ground dug battlefield find group"

                    Charming

I have had a good look at this site to acquaint myself (being a beginner at collecting) with his fakes and I must say he is very convincing. Statements he makes such as: Quote.
"Silver grade panzer assault badge, still with most of its silver finish ,though has a little wear and oxidation, maker marked 'AWS 1942' to the reverse which is a scarce maker ,thin pin all complete ,by the date most likely awarded in Russia or in North Africa for tank crews for 3 assaults or more"
                      On http://www.remainsofthereich.com/viewphoto.php?x=0
Would have you believe that this is fact, known and without question a real item made in 1942. If it turns out not to be the case then he is committing a crime in the U.K.
Has anyone ever thought about contacting the local Police about fraudulent dealers, if so what was the outcome?
Also while looking at his site I thought that his terms and conditions page http://www.remainsofthereich.com/terms.php looked familiar, following a little searching I found that it has been directly lifted from http://www.wehrmachtmilitaria.co.uk/terms.php indeed the whole site seems similar. I am not casting aspersions at wermachtmilitaria as from my limited knowledge their artifacts appear original, however they might like to keep an eye out for any other possible transgressions.

I think the Terms & Conditions are set by the Militaria Mart website which hosts many militaria dealers. http://www.militariamart.com/

The Police are busy here persecuting motorists and people who can't afford to pay their bills ... 'low hanging fruit' ... they wouldn't be interested in someone defrauding 'freaks who collect 'Nazi crap'

Besides originality of such items could be considered subjective ... the site owner will say 'it's real' we say it isn't but HE is the expert because he sells the stuff. The CPS would (perhaps rightfully when you consider the REAL crime that is everywhere in our urban ghettos) find it 'not in the public interest' to proceed to court.

Sad but true ... how do you think crooks like Snyder and his ilk are still out there plying their dubious trade.

I agree. The Police have had a 20% budget reduction over the last 4 years and I doubt that they would be interested unless they defrauded someone powerful and influential.

Collecting "Nazi stuff" has always been the wild west of the antique trade, sell someone a fake painting or item of furniture and you would face a fine and probably a spell in the nick. Fake "Nazi stuff" and the very worst that would happen to you is that you would be forced to issue a refund.

Regimentals has been selling crap for years and getting away with it. There are many more like them.
