I would assume he knows he is selling fakes but hopes no one figures this out.

Surely no one could have that many fakes without knowing. The Gold Presentation 'Nahkampfspange' for £800 made me laugh but I see someones fallen for the fake SS-Germanische Leistungsrune, how much was he asking for that ?

Exactly-he must know and yes that badge you mentioned was LOL funny for sure, he's not the first, Snyder also must know that many of his items are fakes as well...yet people buy from these guys...

I was surprized by how quickly items started to sell. He had opened his web shop no more than 24 hours before I spotted it on the Militaria Mart website and items were being flagged as 'reserved' in next to no time. If you have time to trawl through all the dealers on Militaria Mart you will find one or two other dubious dealers, but most are OK, just the odd mistake which anyone could make.

                      German Cross in Gold

I am very new to this but is the German Cross in Gold marked 20 genuine ? I have tried to compare many pictures and it does seem ok but the price £1300 is rather cheap for the Uk. I would like to buy one but would hate to get stung on such an expensive item. Any help for a newbie much appreciated

Hmm, given the rest of the comments I think that chance is pretty slim.

I think it is easier to sum up the originals, the thread will be much shorter.

I don't know HOW he sells, I have asked him for better pics on some of his items twice over the past days, but so far: no reply....

@Morse 1961: the GC doesn't look bad, but I'm not an expert on these and would definitely need better pics.

(Which he obviously doesn't send when asked for...)

                          German Cross in Gold

Yes I think you have convinced me. From the fact he has not even had the decency to reply to you Ben how do I know he would send the item shown and then its so easy for him to dispute the fact should I return item as the one he had actually sent. Sorry if that's confusing but hopefully you understand what I am trying to say. Many Thanks

In my opinion it is just an ordinary crook.
