Perhaps a Wachtler & Lange? Check on the under side of the pin for a maker's mark...

      Yes, a possible W&L

PdC, I was referring to the underside of the pin itself. Sometimes W&L crosses are stamped L/55 there.

            Scott,
To my knowledge W&L never made Spanish Crosses. This one looks to be the unknown maker IMO.

            Regards,
            AB.

Thanks AB. My reference files have an L/55 cross that comes close to this one, but my files may be out-of-date. I had a hard time matching the design of the sword handles to the 3 cut-outs on the swastikas.

Thank you all. On the under side of needle I think I can see a "5" but very tiny and hardly seen by the naked eye. However I don't know if the needle is original?

The hinge and the catch are similar to "unknown maker" which I have seen on a picture.

PdC, my guess at W&L may be in error, so the marking you see may just be a scratch.

The conclusion will be: Unknown maker, I suppose.
