What are the forum's opinions on double-hinged RK cases? Are there proven wartime examples or are they post-war?, example pic:

I would realy like to see an informative discussion on RK cases, with the different examples shown. There are a few pics in the usual books but they are not comprehensively covered in the literature alone.

George...I've never really thought much about it but there could be dozens!


If you consider all of the possibilities...round, square, lined on the lid, lined around the side, hinge combinations, button types and then the quality and material used in the interiors....you could have any number of combinations!!
