Here is an unmarked EK 1, not being TOO familiar with these....is it real?

Thanks George! Without being cased and in this condition what should be a ballpark value? All I have ever had until now were $75 dollar unmarked EK 2s. Also, there being so many reference books out there....could any members reccommend a few good books on Iron Crosses WW1 and WW2?

I'd put the value at somewhere between US$100 and $150 based on condition and maker.

"The Iron Cross" by Gordon Williamson from Bender Publishing
"The Iron Time" by Previtera from Winidore Press
"Das Eiserne Kreuz" by Harald Geissler (German text)
"The Prussian and German Iron Cross" by V.E. Bowen.
