    Juncker EK1

I believe I have finally popped my Juncker EK1 cherry!

Magnetic core, looks like neusilber frames/catch/hinge/etc

I have not looked up the type yet but it has the crunch bead frame.

    Yes Rich ................
A normal Juncker 3 flaw frame with filed inside corners for the larger swastika core -- filling which was not needed any way as it ended up with the regular core .

Thanks! The great thing about this EK is that it has a luftwaffe connection and I paid no more than the price of a regular EK1. No Juncker premium.

Nice one Rich Can't believe it's your first. The award-year on the reverse is literally just perfect for the type (not that you needed that confirmation).
            Best regards,

                Hi Doug

It was part of a grouping from Thomas Huss. The award of the EK1 was 17.12.1940

He was part of 1, (F) / aufklärungsgruppe 120 which was located in Norway:

                Jul 1940 - Aug 1944 Stavanger-Sola Ju 88D

Yes, after 25 years of collecting, this is the first Juncker EK1 that I have found that didn't have the inflated price.

                      Rich,

Just to let you know I am still looking for a 3-flaw Juncker EKI like yours. They've been extremely hard for me to find. Congratulations on an early Juncker design.

Great find! Now try to not go Juncker crazy haha

And as you said, just an added bonus that you didn't have to donate a kidney to get it!!

Thanks Rich .... a 1940 made and issued award . soft ware to the high spots do to the high copper content . Some copper oxide bleeding out on the surface .
I would like to ask if you could do a measurement on yours if possible ?

                              Cheers, Douglas
