Otto Schickle Knight's Cross

I thought I would share with you an Otto Schickle RK that I recently acquired from Weitze. This is somewhat unusual as it is a 800 marked frame discussed in Williamson's book instead of L/15 neusilber. The frame has all the correct finger prints in the inner ribbing, including the small dimple in the first straight upper rib, and the magnetic core is identical to the one described by Dietrich for the L/15 as opposed to the second type core he notes in other literature. As such it is identical to the l/15 except that it is a silver frame. Interesting.

This is the 2nd 800 marked schickle KC that i have seen. The other was at the MAX show. back around 1993 / 94 .nice cross .
