    L/57 ek1

    Just got this one in. It is nicely vaulted and came in a beat up cardboard case. Has anyone ever seen a spring used like this to keep the pin in place? Not sure who put that on there.

      The spring has been added,might even be the spring from the release catch of a EK box?.Looks a nice cross,going by the EK I book Boerger & &Co EK's have hollow hinge pins.John

        Nice Boerger & Co and B&C with core congrat hard to find
        IMO rarer version

        In general, the core used to be ,Schauerte & Hohfeld

            Great call about the spring John, that is exactly what it is; a spring from aa EK1 box.

            Thanks for the other comments as well that this is a B&C with a B&C core.
