Something like that, yes. I know there are originals of this design, but I don't know precisely who made them or how to tell them apart from the fakes.

I Think it is Juncker.

Following that link I have a hunch that the third bird in post #7 is an early first pattern Meybauer spange. I could be wrong but it certainly looks like one, IMO.

That actually isn't my own personal Meybauer (in post #20 above), it's a file I saved from the cross forum.

At any rate I believe the photo(s) speaks for itself, a true Meybauer.

I have no doubts that it is a real and not messed with early Spange.

You may have to wait for opinions from the experts on that. It all looks fine to me, but I wouldn't want to lead you astray by giving you an unprofessional opinion.
