    German Cross in Gold ID

    I just acquired this German Cross in Gold from the estate of a U.S. Eighth Air Force veteran who served as a radioman on a B-24. As you can see, the cross lacks its pin, therefore I couldn't identify its maker. I would be thrilled if one or more of you DKiG experts could identify the maker of this cross for me. Thanks!
