Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

            Many thanks

Seba has invite me to be a part of the fun here at the Wehrmacht Award Forum. I hold a very high regard for Gordon Williamson and know that only failure will meet me if I attempt to fill his large shoes. My desire is to share if I can be of assistance, but listen and learn when I haven't a clue. If I may, I will tell you a little about myself so you have some idea of my background.
Art is my first love, and with it I bring a formal education in Graphic Design and Advertising Art Direction. This has influenced my work relating to our hobby. The books we publish here at Winidore Press are graphically driven. We endeavour to cover the history of a decoration/medal with original imagery and a hefty amount of respect for the truth. When you are an author and make a mistake, you will find many remind you many times over, so one learns to redouble one's efforts to get the facts straight. That's why I think this is a great place to be. The forum is an organic book, always able to correct itself, redirect itself, answer, question and picture – with strong imagery – the questions we all have concerning this mutual love called collecting. As Seba has requested, I will check in several times a week, getting a feeling for the process and helping it along. I will lean on my pal George Stimson an awful lot to show me the ropes, and I look forward to four more years........(sorry the timing seems a bit ironic) I look forward to learning from you all.
            Stephen

                        Four more years.....

Oh, sorry. Right, this is the world-wide web. The four more years reference was to the political situation in the U.S. Right-away it gets tricky!
