      spange

You guys are the experts which is why I posted....I have found an example which is close to mine. They are clearly not perfectly the same but they both have a common detail, the almost no details oak leaf. I got this pick from a "reputable sellers site". I would love nothing more then to add my spange to the site to help other avoid fake medals. let me know what you think.

I think it is the same type, one is just more "worn" then the other.
I do not not like any of them.

          spange

I am a coin collector and dealer. It doesnt seem to be "worn" to me its almost like it was cast incorrectly or its fake. How long would someone have to wear that ,where it would show up worn in in that specific pot? I say years. So for me its down to its a crappy org manunfature or psot ww2 fake.
You would deffinatley see more even wear

There are several ways to give a badge a worn look in a few minutes, the techniques are improved all the time...

But it's a fake clasp indeed.

That is also why I typed worn in "", as to show, it was not a real worn Spange, just an attempt to make it look like it.

Sorry that it was so unclear.
