Attached are images of 2 clasps. I believe the one on the left is original and attributed to the unknown maker (possibly Schmidhauser). The one on the right I believe is a copy and it is stamped 1 on the reverse. Have I got this right? Thanks for your thoughts.

No problem Robert. Thater pp. 1100-1107, called Unknown Maker 1.
I'm fairly sure that most everyone over at GCA accepts this piece as an original.
I've never held one and I have no idea if it is or not, but it certainly is rare -- as either an original or a fake.Best regards,
