There are some Deumer examples with the 'L/11' in a box on the pin.

Edit: Not actually in a 'box', but with lines on both top and bottom of the L/11 mark, running perpendicular with the pin.

I was not aware of these, I guess, due to them being uncommon. I hadn't seen these yet.

I too would have guessed Deumer marked their crosses only under the catch had it not been for George's photos of his pin-marked examples.
