EK I L/11 opinions

Hello friends ,

Could you help me with this EKI originality, please?
My friend bought this EKI in USA at the gunshow event.
I think that is a copy, but i´m not a EK specialist.
Just i have only this pictures. If you will need next, I send request to my friend.

I'm just a "beginner" regards EK's,I would expect the L/11 mark to be in a box on the pin,this as it is would put me off,but I'm glad to be proved wrong.John

Yes this cross is certainly not a Duemer but it looks like a good micro L/13 Meybeuer.

L/11 would be either in a box or not, below the catch, not on the pin.

There are some Deumer examples with the 'L/11' in a box on the pin.

Edit: Not actually in a 'box', but with lines on both top and bottom of the L/11 mark, running perpendicular with the pin.

Yes that's right,but in "The Iron Cross 1 Class" B&D publishing page 93(there is also a rear photo of one on page 82) that less frequently,on the outside of the pin.John
When I first saw the photo's I thought it was marked L/11,I'm glad that its in fact an L/13
