    Correct case for a 100 EK1

    I´m new to EK´s so maybe the question is primitive, but I would be keen to know if this is an original case and if it is fitting for a 100 EK1.

    Thanks in advance!

          Case for W&L MM100

          This case, while most usually associated with BH Mayer, is ALSO regularly seen with MM100 crosses. W&L used the standard domed case, LDO cases for their L/55 series, as well as the case you have provided photos for.

              I have an 'L55'-marked EKI that came to me in this case. The case has a paper hinge. The cross fit's the recess perfectly, like it was made for the cross. So I'm wondering if W&L used additional cases for their LDO-marked crosses.

                      Are you referring to the case in post #7, or the other?

                        W&L Cases

                        Robert;

                        W&L used a variety of cases, and with L/55 the case shown by you as well as the author of thread were both used. In the specific instance of the case addressed specifically to the thread, if used for L55, one would sometimes see (as I have several times..) a red inked mark "L55" in box on the bottom side of the case.

                        A lovely exemplar of an L55 you own!
