    New arrival here, an EK2 marked 15 for Friedrich Orth, Wien. As usual you comments will be appreciated.

        The small ring is only soldered to the front of the cross. It has not come undone, there is no mark there so it was never attached

            Very nice set

            Is the EK2 magnetic? And on my 15 the ring is soldierd both sides, but i have the dimple on topp arm.

                Thanks for the comments so far. The EK1 has a dimple on the front of the top arm. The EK2 has 2 dimples, one on each side of the bottom arm, nothing that I can see on the top arm....and the EK2 is magnetic. Cheers.

                  Very nice. I have an EKI marked 15, but have never noticed the "dimple". Is this something common to this maker?? I'll have to go home tonight and take a look.

                    I am not 100% sure whether "no dimples" would be anything to worry about, but I have always assumed that all Orth cross have these.
