    Jim,

Does your cross have a 'hump' that the ring passes through or is it soldered to the frame ?

The round 3. I was thinking about its cross hatching, but then, a round 3 has a hump on top of the frame, so...

        Cheers.

          George, Guy's,

What if any possible theory or taken for granted or known thoughts would there be for Georges dates and mine differing substantialy ?

It's not as if it's a common maker and we encounter this style frequently (or do you, I'm no cross 'collector' or budding expert....I'm pretty clueless on these things)

Would the EK 1 and EK 2 dates be the same, mine appear to be.

I probably have the wrong end of the stick here, but Georges detailed date.....isn't this a trait of 'earlier' awards rather than the stamped out mass produced ones to a liberal degree that is ?

Or are mine possibly just crap

Totally of the subject of Jim's but there seems to be a difference.

I dont like the date on George´s L/12. Here is a copy from here about Junker dates in a old tread. If you look at the 1st 9 and the 3 - as a group - they cant or lean towards the left. If you look at neils it's just the opposite. In either case, it conforms to what Frank H (moderator) says to look for in a juncker ek: 1st '9' bigger than the '1', '3' bigger than the 2nd '9.'

On Marcus EK i belive the above is true.

Georges cross dates don't appear to resemble anything that I can find on Juncker EK's ? Considering for the moment mine is correct (or one of a variation) perhaps, this is Neil's old EK 2 by the way, which I now own.

Are these the correct pic's George because I'm sure you have one that is an exact match to mine apart from I think it was unmarked.

Hmmm.. doesn't look a lot like mine.

Anybody else have any ideas on the cross I posted. Lets narrow it down to if it's genuine or not. I really like that beading, but don't want a fake.

                        Thanks.
