The beading in each arm is not 'curved' nearly as much as other 1939 iron crosses are. Also, a quick look at the '3' in 1939. The '3' is very distinct. And, when you really get down to the detailing one can see near perfect beading in each inside corner, and the swastika is very 'crisp.'
