    strange KVK 2nd class

    Hi, I got this KVK 2nd class without swords. Is it a fake?

      From the front it looks to be cast from the pitting. Not up to the usual crisp standards I think.

        It looks . . . odd, for lack of a better word. The funny date, the thick bandring, the pebbling in some places. If it's a fake it's a good one though.

          It seems almost all the pointed edges have taken a beating. Does it feel soft?

                  The KVK feels softer than the normal zinc or tombac pieces.
