I've never seen that type/variation before but I like it. I find the head and talons unusual but the detail is good. It will be interesting for me also to see what the more knowledgeable collectors think of this piece

Had one of these a few years ago, but sent it back.
It had a strange color, and the prongs were so stiff they wouldn't bend at all.

So they will come off like on this one.

It looks a lot like the clasps from Hammer u Sohn, but not original IMO.

It's an interesting piece, well executed, and esthetically I like the design more than some proposed originals, BUT, as previously mentioned, I haven't seen this type before so the red flags are waving.

Definitely worth a study by those so inclined but until then I have to air on the side of caution & agree with Ben based on what we know to date.
