    Knight Cross Group picture:

Just came across this very interesting picture which I have never seen which could be known to others .
The perfect chalange for those who collect amongst other things/info KC related items ... like pictures ....

----> Who can be identified here in this picture ?? Unfortunately one cannot read the name tags .
( Assuming this is not a 'docktored' picture !) I would think some members here may be able to pick out half of them .
As with every re-union not every KC holder shows up - be it a small number - either never a member- not wanting to attend or too ill to take part !

    Description:
A 50 year KC Group re-union picture taken apparently in 2004 . Being 10 years ago - chanches are 30% or more may no long be with us .
Just like the person on the Death notice , who should be easy to trace last name -- with given birthdate .
Just a hand full have other awards pinned to their Jackets .

Do to the time that has passed - would these KC holders not have been the jungest recipients and late awardees ?
Not all are wearing a KC and unfortunately one cannot tell from this picture -those who are - if it a 39 or 57 version .

    Cheers Douglas

    Hi Douglas,

To start, the 1957 KC itself is fake ( reproduction ). The vendor should be ashamed trying to flog this as "vet owned".

Furthermore, this picture comes from the OdR magazine "Das Ritterkreuz".
It was published there in the December 2004 issue.

Will check my OdR magazines, as I do believe the names were mentioned under the picture ....

    Grtz,
    Mathijs

Not a mistery picture then .... some one found it quickly .... as thought would be the case .

The name on the death notice I would think is ... Heinrich Köhler .
Every participant seams to have goten his own picture to keep .

I did not think that KC was good ..... and passing it off a his 57 issue . His ratings shows it .

It's a shame that by now most of these RKT's have passed away. I found my copy of this photo also and there are many not there for one reason or another. Like it was stated, not all made each reunion. The 3 that I attended (in the 70's - early 80's) I remember 2 to 3 hundred would be there ! The dealer who is selling this FAKE RK is just another Rip-off jerk ! Tom
