Sorry Brian, I didn't read correctly and focused on the colour.
Indeed, the gilding looks odd, not what is espected for a Juncker cross.
Swords grip don't look like original juncker cross, form and details.
eagles seems to have been heavily polished and lack of details. Eagle swas must have two cut out, and not three.
better pic of the making could add another bad point.

Some times gold can be miss leading !

Always have a watchful eye when gold is used even on original Juncker Spanish Cross's in silver !!! You may be paying big money for a good paint job !!! Be careful collectors !!!

Emedals have a lot of good items too !!!

Emedals has a lot of good items on his list and most of them have come from Detlev Nieman. He hasn't had very many Spanish Crosses in silver lately and hasn't any German Cross's in silver either but I think its because those items are drying out. His inventory in awards are very good though. I do recommend everyone to visit his site. I think the sponsors of this forum have checked his site out as well.

Detlev never would have passed that SC off as a Juncker. Take this one as an example, he knew the difference.
