    Combat Awards Book

Sorry for posting in this forum, but i can't post in the book forum for some reason.

I saw a Hardcover book online a few years ago on German Combat Awards, It was quite large and had a blue cover and if a remember the cover also had perhaps 10-20 awards on the cover. It retailed for around £70 in the UK. Does anyone know what this book was called and the author from my description?

    Thanx

God knows there are better books out now than anything he did. Try B&D Publishing.

Might not be as the ones I have do not have blue dust covers, I do not have all of his collected works though and some of his works go back over 45 years

It sounds like the Privetera/Tucker book. They put the first one out on Heer and Kriegs badges, then followed it up with a decent book on Luftwaffe awards. They are good, basic reference books both both have quite a bit of mistakes and fakes in them, especially the first book.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

If you should find the title of the book you are looking for do a search on ABE Books before buying from a dealer. I can almost guarantee you will get a better price from a used book store than a militaria dealer.

No it wasn't that one Ian. Much bigger and hardcover.
