EKII mm 66 - Freidrich Keller

    Hello everybody,

Here's my latest 2nd class Iron Cross.
It's a marked 66 from Friedrich Keller, Oberstein.

It has the typical beading configuration for a Keller, the numbers in the dates match other examples I've seen on this forum, the makers mark is stamped over the weld in the ring (although this isn't immediately obvious) and it also has the flaw in the beading/extra bit of frame on the horizontal arm at 9 o'clock which I have observed in many 66s.

It certainly looks a genuine example to me but I always like to run it by you for a once over and to hear your comments.

The following picture shows the flaw in the beading/extra bit of frame on the horizontal arm at 9 o'clock which I referred to earlier. I have seen it on a number of marked Keller crosses.

    Thanks for reading.

                Nice.

A maker I have found very elusive.
